Android will ask once whether this browser may install apps. It installs over the existing app and keeps your events, queue and settings, because it is signed with the same key as a cabled build. Check the build line in Settings afterwards; it should read 705e8847+dirty.
The app can now be used in French, Portuguese and German
New. The app can now be used in French, Portuguese and German, as well as English and Spanish. Nothing changes for you unless your phone is set to one of them or you choose it in Settings.
New. Help is in those languages too, and it is already on your phone, so it opens with no signal. A few guides are still in English.
Good to know. The texts your guests receive stay in English for now.
The updated design is now standard, the app can be used in Spanish, and Help is already on your phone
New. The updated design you may have tried under Tomorrow's version is now standard for everyone. We're still polishing it, so tell us anything that feels off. If something is not working for you, Settings has Use the classic design to switch back.
New. The app can now be used in Spanish. Nothing changes for you unless you choose Español in Settings.
New. Help is now already on your phone when you install the app, so it opens with no signal even if you have never opened it on Wi-Fi. It carries every guide and every picture.
New. Help updates are small. The app checks on Wi-Fi whenever you open it (at most once a day) and downloads only the guides and pictures that changed, so it is current before you need it.
Help now opens inside the app and keeps working with no signal, plus a few screen fixes
New. Help opens inside the app instead of the browser. On Wi-Fi the app keeps a copy of Help on the phone, so it still opens at a venue with no signal. It checks for a newer copy every time you open Help.
New. This test build now always sends its status reports, so there is no switch to forget or turn off. Settings, Diagnostics says so in one line.
New. When a Nikon or a Sony is connected, the app now records what the camera says by itself and sends it to us once the session ends, so we can work on cameras we do not have here. It never includes your photos.
Fixed. The bottom buttons no longer sit under the phone's navigation bar, and the gallery hint no longer sits under the camera button.
Fixed. While you pinch-zoom a photo on the spot screen, the instruction text stays below the photo.
Fixed. A crash report now keeps the line that names the error, so we can tell what went wrong.
Fixed. With Tomorrow's version on, photo thumbnails show the original upload marks again: the pulsing bar while a photo sends, the Uploaded bar that turns into a check, and the amber and red bars for waiting and not sent. The small clock is gone.
Good to know. If the server has no Help to give, the screen says Help is not available right now instead of showing an error page. The first time you open Help with no signal and no saved copy, it asks for a connection.
